5454 Aluminum

Description

5454 is a non-heat treatable alloy of aluminum and magnesium. It is a moderate strength alloy that may be hardened (strengthened) by cold working.

Applications

This alloy is primarily used in areas where good formability is required and in the manufacture of high strength welded structures, pressure vessels, marine applications, and in storage tanks.
