Stainless Steels
AMS Resources, Inc. stocks a variety of Stainless Steel materials. Stainless Steel’s popularity has grown for kitchen and food processing applications because of the ease with which it can be sterilized. Since it is heat and rust resistant, the material is a good option when strength and corrosion resistance is needed. Cookware, cutlery, and surgical instruments are but a few uses for the material. Stainless Steel can be made into bars, plates, sheets, tubing, or wire. We either stock or can source the form of Stainless Steels you need. Your trusted partners at AMS Resources, Inc. are here to help!

From our customer:
So that A286 Forging you supplied to us was used to make this special hollow sphere for an instrument of the “Europa Clipper”, scheduled launch in 2024.
Here is a photo of the instrument. I enlarged the image of the steel sphere we made from the A286. Here is a link to the NASA article about the delivery to Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.
